The Jade Maid Hotel ( Yunu dajiudian ) is a Taiwan joint venture, three-star tourist hotel built in a modern design but with local architectural styles. It is located in the Wuyi Mountain National Scenic Spot, right beside the famous King of Peaks ( Dawang feng) and is about 20 minutes from the airport and railway station. The hotel has four storeys of 143 guest rooms, architecturally similar to the cylindrical, Hakka farmhouse styles of Sanming. Within there is a large banquet hall serving both Chinese and Western food and a coffee shop serving both the famous Wuyi Yan Tea and coffee. Recreational facilities include a shopping arcade, a billiards room, a nightclub and a beautiful courtyard garden. There is also a business center and an international conference hall. The hotel has a currency exchange desk for help in currency transactions, as well as a travel agency ( Yunu guoji luxingshe ) that provides travel guide services.
